1Add yoghurt to a medium bowl . Add chopped onion , cucumber , tomato , coriander , and mint and green chili to the yoghurt. Mix well.yoghurt: 1 c, onion: 1 small, cucumber: 2 medium, tomato: 1 small, coriander: 1/2 c, mint: 4 tbsp, green chili: 1 small

2Add salt , pepper and sugar (no sugar for healthier option). Mix well.salt: 1 tsp, pepper: 1/2 tsp, sugar: 1 tsp

3Toast cumin seeds in a hot, dry pan on medium heat for a few seconds until they start to turn a shade darker and crackle. Remove from heat. Add to the raita.cumin seeds: 1 tsp

4Add chilled water , a little at a time while mixing gently until you get the consistency you desire. Your raita should be thick and creamy.chilled water: 60 ml

5Chill the raita in the fridge for at least 1-2 hours before serving. It will stay fresh in the fridge for up to 3 days.
